If you’ve stopped by Workhorse lately, you’ve probably met Diana—our newest site manager who’s already making her mark on the space. With a background that includes opening new facilities for Tesla, overseeing operations for Amazon’s Seattle and Bellevue campuses, and working her dream job as an ice cream scooper (yes, really), Diana brings a special blend of operational expertise and genuine warmth to everything she does.
Whether she’s helping members set up their space, streamlining processes behind the scenes, or chatting about the best local running trails, Diana is exactly the kind of person you want on your team. Let’s get to know her better.
Meet Diana
Can you tell us a bit about your role at Workhorse? What do you do, and what do you love about it?
I’m a site manager focused on business operations. Day to day, that means supporting members with whatever they need and encouraging potential members to join this great community. Behind the scenes, I’m working on streamlining business processes and tools to make everything run more smoothly.
What I love most? Seeing members connect and support each other. That’s when you know the community is working.
What other jobs did you have before Workhorse? What did they teach you that helps you in your role now?
I spent 10 years at Tesla in Workplace Operations and New Site Openings, which taught me how to think quickly, adapt to constant change, and distill information to clearly understand what the business needs. Basically, I learned how to herd cats—which is a surprisingly useful skill.
After Tesla, I joined Amazon’s Global Real Estate & Facilities team, overseeing facility operations for the Seattle and Bellevue campuses. That role taught me to streamline processes, understand the big picture, and be confident in my decision-making at scale. More cat herding, just on a larger scale.
Before all that, I worked retail at Eddie Bauer, Brooks Brothers, and Road Runner Sports. And my absolute dream job? Ice cream scooper. Yes, I’m serious—it was and still is my dream job.
(Maybe Diana will moonlight at one of the many Edmonds ice cream spots we featured last month? Only time will tell.)
Can you tell us a bit about yourself? What are your interests and hobbies? What’s a fun fact?
I love to ski, run, cook, and spend time with my family. One of my favorite places in the world is the Methow Valley—if you haven’t been, put it on your list.
I also volunteer at PAWS Lynnwood with a program called Canine Campers that gets long-term resident dogs out of the shelter for some fun and adventure. It’s incredibly rewarding to give these dogs a break from shelter life and help them decompress.
Fun fact: My family was in People Magazine. I’ll tell you the story if you ask me in person!
What drew you to Workhorse? What’s your favorite thing about it?
The community engagement and the opportunity to support a growing business from an operational perspective drew me to Workhorse. I’ve spent years working at massive companies, and there’s something really special about being part of a smaller team where you can see the direct impact of your work.
My favorite thing? The people, hands down. The members here are doing interesting work, and they genuinely care about supporting each other. That’s rare, and it’s worth protecting.
Workhorse is Built by Workhorses for Workhorses
Six years into this coworking thing, our mission is unwavering: We pull harder together. Diana joins our small, hardworking team of site managers who make Workhorse what it is—a place where community comes first, operations run smoothly, and everyone feels welcome.
If you haven’t met Diana yet, stop by and say hi. Ask her about the Methow Valley, her time at Tesla, what got her in People Magazine, or why ice cream scooping is the dream job. Just make sure you put your dishes in the dishwasher first—it’s one of the best ways to show our team you appreciate all they do.
Thank you, Diana, for bringing your skills, energy, and kindness to our community. We’re lucky to have you!
