Member Spotlight: Theresa Nguyen of Le Chew

If you’ve seen our website or any of our promotional materials, you’ve seen Theresa Ngyuyn. No, that’s not a stock photo! That’s Theresa, and she is this month’s Member Spotlight.

Theresa is the owner of a micro business called Le Chew, and she makes macarons—you know, those French meringue cookies with the cream filling (not to be confused with macaroons, which are coconut mounds :)). She enjoys seeing people smile when she gives them their confections.

A Seattle-area native, Theresa spent a few years in Austin before coming back to her rightful home. She’s a fitness junkie—she’s into anything that gets her body moving and, while she makes sweet treats, she also loves all things plant-based. When she’s not working, you can find Theresa outside. She especially loves running in the rain. A mom of two kids (an 11 year-old son, Donovan, and an 8 year-old daughter, Camden), Theresa makes sure to get her children moving outside with her as much as possible! They love to sled, snowshoe, ride bikes, hike, and go on morning jogs as a family. She also enjoys getting up at 4 a.m. to get her “ME time” in before work and the kids’ schedules begin for the day.

Workhorse caught Theresa’s attention because of its grand space. When she’s at Workhorse, Theresa gets to surround herself with other thinkers and creators. She likes networking and bouncing ideas off of other members. She loves that WHHQ brings churning minds together in a constructive way where she gets to be productive AND grow her business. She also appreciates that the WiFi can withstand many Zoom chats going on at the same time.

In Theresa’s words: “The location is amazing! Right in downtown Edmonds—you can easily take a walk around town and watch the ferry.
