Member Spotlight: Crissy Trewin, Real Estate Broker

Jun 15, 2021

We’ve known Crissy Trewin for years, and it’s time you knew her, too! She’s been a part of Workhorse before we opened and even helped put it all together. We are so grateful for Crissy’s friendship—this spotlight is all about her.

Crissy is a real estate broker by day (and often by night) who loves being able to offer the support, resources, and assistance that renters, sellers, and buyers require, and guiding them through the process of their transaction. It is important to Crissy that she can anticipate the needs of her clients and exceed their expectations—whether that is locating the right contractor for home repairs prior to listing a sale, helping to find the best lender for a first-time home buyer, or even assisting a new-in-town renter moving furniture into her first apartment.

Crissy has been married to her husband, Corky, for 24 years. They have two adult children. When Jenni (27) and Hunter (22) were young, Crissy homeschooled them while supporting Corky’s photography business as his editor and printer. Now that the kids are grown and independent, she still edits and prints for Corky, but now she has more time to focus on her real estate career. It’s the best of both worlds. She’s still involved with her family business while enjoying the challenges of the ever-changing real estate market.

In her free time, Crissy likes to read. Her current favorite author is Erik Larson. She highly recommends his most recent book, The Splendid and the Vile. Crissy also creates multimedia art canvases—primarily abstract digital artwork with overlays of gel medium, paint, and metal leaf. The basis of the digital art is often one of Corky’s well known photographs. At this point, they have not had much time to travel, but someday she and Corky would like to spend a month or more discovering the beautiful island of Malta.

Crissy appreciates that Workhorse has a convenient meeting space for clients north of Kirkland (where she and Corky are based). It is a great benefit to be able to meet clients in a beautiful space that is closer to their home. Workhorse is comfortable and quiet enough to have a productive conversation in the main area, and she loves having the option to reserve the conference room to make use of the large monitor and whiteboard. Plus, the location can’t be beat! There are so many fantastic restaurants to take a client to a post-meeting lunch.

If you see Crissy around the space, stop and say hello!
