Member Spotlight: Corrine Stratton

Sep 5, 2022

It’s so fun to learn about all of you through our Member Spotlight series. You may recognize Corrine Stratton, our latest interview. She’s a familiar face around Workhorse. Not only does she manage our events, but she’s also taken on more day-to-day work in the space, and we couldn’t be happier to have more time with her!

If you have any questions about hosting an event at Workhorse or building a marketing strategy, be sure to say hey. Herewith is our conversation with Corrine. Grab yourself a mug of something warm and settle in as you get to know her better.

Can you tell us a bit about your work? What do you do, and what do you love about it?

I launched my own marketing consulting business, Prompts & Posts, in late 2021. I work with startups, small businesses, and nonprofits to help close marketing gaps they might have from a lack of resources or bandwidth. I heard the term end-to-end marketer the other day and relate to the idea of being a marketer who can do a bit of everything and help teams get projects across the finish line.

I enjoy working with brands to develop their voice through website and blog content. I also love helping teams produce and run engaging virtual and in-person events.

Can you tell us a bit about yourself? What are your interests and hobbies? What’s a fun fact?

I grew up in Arizona and ended up in the PNW for college. Go Zags! My husband and I moved to Edmonds in 2017. We absolutely love raising our daughter here and being a part of this amazing community.

I’m addicted to Bravo and will talk to anyone about the Real Housewives.

My fun fact is that I grew up with a bird that lived to be 27 years old.

What drew you to Workhorse? What’s your favorite thing about it? What problems does it help you solve?

I was ready to start being a part of a work community again. Workhorse is the perfect place to run my business while getting to meet new people, build my network, and collaborate with some amazing people.

Isn’t Corrine great? And, how about her new headshot? She worked with Dedicated Desk member Dolly Muxo of Raven Ocean Portraits to capture her essence for her forthcoming website launch. Dolly is not only offering every new Workhorse member a free headshot, but she’s also offering $50 off a full session. Contact her to schedule!
