Member Spotlight: Jordan Monroe

We don’t always know where our members live but with Jordan Monroe, knowing where she lives is pretty much a given. Jordan and her husband now run two Airbnbs that are connected (one is a carriage house!) just a few blocks from Workhorse. We sat down with her to get to know her, her businesses, and her family better.

Can you tell us a bit about your work? What do you do, and what do you love about it?

I’m Jordan Monroe (@jojomonro on social media), an entrepreneur who thrives on creating a life I love. I’m fortunate to call Edmonds home, alongside my husband Nathan Monroe (an Edmonds native) and our two adorable sons, Archer (2), and Bishop (9 months). My passion in business is creating assets that cover my liabilities and teaching others to do the same! It’s not only smart but can also be a whole lot of fun. Over the past two decades, achieving this has been my number one goal, and I’ve discovered some exciting ways to make it happen.

Whether through leveraging time through people equity in my affiliate marketing company, MDC, or through creating online courses about Quantum Awakening with my mom through our company, Spiritual B!tchslap Co., you’ll always find me in the Creative Structure, having a blast and mentoring people along the way.

One of our latest businesses, and most relevant to Edmonds locals, are our two premier vacation rentals in the heart of downtown Edmonds!

We are proud stewards of The Edmonds Carriage House and The Edmonds Main House, two vacation rentals nestled in the heart of downtown Edmonds. It brings us immense joy to welcome guests from near and far, showcasing the picturesque allure of our little town. To make our spaces even more delightful, we love collaborating with local businesses such as Crow, Vie and Vin, Field, Little Bipsy, and many more. Together, we create An Edmonds Kind of Stay.

What drew you to Workhorse? What’s your favorite thing about it? What problems does it help you solve?

I was drawn to Workhorse because of its sense of community and the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals. As a “Work from Home” lady boss, I cherish the freedom to create in my own space. However, when my two little monkeys came along just 15 months apart, I realized the importance of having a dedicated, quiet environment for focused work. Working from my car to find some peace and quiet wasn’t exactly cutting it anymore. Thank you, Workhorse, for providing the perfect solution!

Say Hey

If you see Jordan around the space, introduce yourself! And, if you have any out-of-towners you want to host nearby (or if you want to steal away for a staycation yourself), you know where to go. Thank you, Jordan, for adding vivaciousness to our community. We appreciate you!
