Most of the spots you’re about to read about are within walking distance of each other (and definitely within walking distance of Workhorse). So whether you’re planning a night out, a happy hour with coworkers, a date, or you need a solid drink recommendation after a long day, this guide has you covered. It’s arranged by taste, so skip to the section you’re most excited about first, and make this your go-to Edmonds drink guide (e.g. bookmark this page!), because we’ll be updating it on the regular. The Best Cocktails in Edmonds
Bar Americano: From the owners of Daphnes comes its Italian cugina, a beautiful indoor space with a large, vibey patio. Belly up to the bar to order an Italian Stallion (very Workhorse-coded!) with amaro, fernet, lime juice, and ginger beer. Or, ask them to make you something special!
Bar Dojo: This place has a lot of fun with Chino Latino flavors. Example: The Quetzal, a sage-infused tequila, mezcal, and Poblano chile verde liqueur cocktail with pineapple, jalapeño, lime. Plus, it’s got a Fresno pepper sugar-salted rim. Yeah, it’s like that at Bar Dojo.
Casa Oaxaca: There’s a Cilantro Margarita at Casa Oaxaca at 5 Corners. Enough said. Celebrate Mexican Independence Day every September 15th with drink and food specials.
Churchkey Pub: This hot take may surprise you, so make sure you’re sitting: ChurchKey Pub makes one of the best scratch margaritas we’ve ever tasted. Plus, they have mead around the holidays and tons of other cocktails, ales, etc.
Daphnes Bar: This Edmonds institution is known for its tiny footprint and stiff drinks. It’s kinda attached to the movie theater, and it’s the perfect place for a before- or after-movie beverage. We talked about it more in our Edmonds Theater Date Night blog. Read that here.
Fire & The Feast: Pacific Northwest Italian made its home at this popular spot right in the heart of downtown. Try a Naked and Italian (mezcal, Aperol, liquore strega, lime) or sip on a Porch Swing (amaro nonino, canton, lemon, mint, soda, cava brut). Either way, you’ll be vibing.
Epulo Bistro: When we think of Epulo, we think of espresso martinis, and when you walk inside, you’ll see why. Bonus: They have the perfect after dinner salted caramel express martini, which adds a salted caramel foam to their famous cocktail staple.
Kelnero: If you want the most delicious drink of your life and an encyclopedic menu of options to choose from, head to Kelnero. They will take such great care of you that you’ll be dreaming of what you had until your next visit. And if you don’t know where to begin, start with the Black Rose and thank us later.
Niles Peacock Kitchen & Bar: Weekend or not, you have to try the The Weekend Special (vodka, lime, simple, angostura bitters, and aromatized bubble). Yes, a bubble! Niles was famous for his cocktails before he was famous for his pizza, and he’s pretty famous for both.
Scratch Distillery: Sip your spirits straight, learn how to create your own, or order a drink with one of the in-house made spirits. Scratch is an experience like no other!
Edmonds Wine Bars & Sip Spots
Dusted Valley Wine Bar: Enjoy a taste of Walla Walla right in the heart of Edmonds at Dusted Valley’s tasting room. Pssst, they have snacks, too.
Fox + Bottle: Part wine shop, part gift shop, the Fox + Bottle will match you with the perfect bouquet—on every level.
Virtue: Hang out on the patio while you sip and watch the happenings at Main Street Commons, or cozy up inside at Virtue while you savor their hand-crafted single vineyard, single varietal wines from the most distinguished vineyards in the Columbia Valley.
Vinbero: The first wine bar in Edmonds (kinda like how we’re the first coworking space in Edmonds), Vinbero is the brain baby of Kelnero owners Kris and Kali Kelnero. You’ll see them host battles of the bars, live music, and really great wines. We also like to use them to cater our events.
Visible: Our favorite new coffee shop in town is also a wine bar at night.
Where to Grab a Beer in Edmonds
Brigid’s Bottleshop: With a wall of refrigerators full of grab-and-go and mix-and-match bottles and cans, Brigids is the perfect place to pop into or to linger. Like us, it’s dog-friendly. Unlike us, it’s kid-friendly, too. They have a large handful of rotating beer taps, wine, and ciders, too.
Edway Taphouse: Has a huge list of brews and offers a family friendly atmosphere with events and rotating food trucks out front!
Engels Pub: An Edmonds mainstay that hosts everything from open mic nights to drag bingo, Engels is about as iconic a “dive” as they come. Jello shots, anyone? Become a regular and ask them to pour your favorite pint. This is a place where you’re bound to make some friends.
Gallagher’s Where U Brew: You can come here for something they brewed or you can brew your own (like we have—who got to enjoy our German-inspired Worksteiner?). If you’re NA or underage, you could brew your own root beer here, too.
Maize & Barley: With rotating taps and a deep support for local brewers, Maize & Barley is one of our favorite places to hang for lunch, happy hour, or longer.
Salish Sea Brewing: Locally-made craft beer. Snacks. TVs. Live music. Dog-friendly patios. What could go wrong? (Literally nothing—both the brew pub and boathouse are awesome.)

Zero-Proof & Mocktails in Edmonds
Calypso: Whether you’re coming for karaoke or sipping on a virgin pina colada, Calypso will give you a taste of the Carribean just steps from Workhorse.
Charcoal: Housed inside Graphite Arts in the building right next door to Workhorse, Charcoal pulls punches with its drinks, alcoholic and non. Try a Burbank Eden (house blackberry shrubs, lemon, cock & bull ginger beer) or an Odilon’s Blosson (fusion verjus blanc, peach orgeat, spiced pear juice, lemon), and remember: like your tastes, their menu is ever-evolving.
Elsom Cellars: Edmonds’ newest social club in Perrinville may support a winery, but it’s not lacking in NA options. Sip on a Ginger Tumberic Tonic (ginger, turmeric, honey, peppercorn concentrate, sparkling mineral water) or a Seasonal Strawberry Shrub (fresh strawberries aged with apple cider vinegar and coconut sugar topped with San Pellegrino and a lemon twist). And don’t forget to add some snacks or linger for their monthly book club while you’re there!
Leftcraft: If you want options, Leftcraft is full of them. With 25+ rotating taps and a huge menu of cocktails, there’s something for every taste. For NA drinkers, order a Kavapolitan, an adaptogenic drink made with kava haven, dhos orange liqueur, pomegranate, lime, and served in a coupe. Or opt for a Faux 75 with dhos NA gin, lemon, joyous NA sparkling, and also served in a coupe. Pinky’s up!
Salt & Iron: Our favorite local oysters and steak place has fun with its NA options, too. Whether you’re interest in a Nofashioned (Pathfinder Hemp & Root, orange bitters, simple syrup), The Frederico Spritz (Dhos Bittersweet, Veuve de Vernay Dealcoholized Prosecco, soda, orange slice) or something bespoke, they’ll mix up the perfect drink for you.
